Even though it's not a treaty on the whole spectra of philosophy it was still a fascinating reading and I really had my time reading it. One other great example that comes to mind is Logicomix, about the life of Bertrand Russel. For the language, anything in English, French or Italian will do for me. And, if possible, I'd be more of a "one-tome" guy: I really don't like to fill up my shelves with multiple 24-pages comics, I'd rather go with big 400-pages books or such.
The field doesn't have to be necessarily economics: I'm interested in whatever there is out there: philosophy, history, literature, politics, maths, physics, whatever will do. And, if possible, with a view as wide as possible over a certain field. Right now I'm looking for similar comics: some which could be informative and brilliantly funny, simple to understand but not skipping the difficult parts.
Overall, it really gave you the impression of learning something difficult while still being lighthearted and funny. Concepts are well explained, often with awesome metaphors (for those who read it, the baloon and the economical stagnation), made simple but not banal. I really loved it: it combines information and amusement, without making it look too "heavy". For those who don't know it, it's an history of economics from the beginning of capitalism up to modern days. I've recently finished reading Economix, which is bluntly put a comic book about economics.
